A Survivor

||

November 30, 2002

Pixie survived from the complication of the accident. It took two more weeks to start recovering. The first vet told me that she didn't have any fractures of bones, but actually she had fractured several ribs and some of them were broken in two pieces. I changed the vet three times. The second vet was the one that I have been trusting for a long time, but he lives far away from where I live now. He introduced me a veterinary hospital close to my place.

The third veterinary hospital is well equipped, and the head doctor is the one of the famous skilled surgeons. Pixie had her operation on Nov. 26, and she survived.

Pixie was a fighter. Even though she didn't eat for three weeks, she fought against many troubles that almost killed her. She bore up the tough situation and never gave up to live.

I thank God for helping her survive and people who encouraged me to believe in Pixie.

She did it.
