It's been a week since Pixie came back home. The course of the recovery hasn't been easy for both of us. When she returned home she hadn't eaten from herself for more than three weeks. I had to make her want to eat. She tried very hard, but she vomitted every time she ate. Also she refused to take any medicine. She stayed in the bed most of the day except when she needed to go to the bathroom. I brought her food every two hours, and she gradually started eating solid food and not vomit after it.

She is getting stronger each day. She tried to jump up on the chair and succeeded. She seemed to be very happy to be doing things that she had been doing before she had the accident. Her spinal cord is slipped a little in one place which making her walk difficult, but she does not give up. She insists doing things that she couldn't do, and usually she succeeds. She taught me a lot through this incident.
