Peter Pan's name was kind of long for the new owner so he was called "Peter" at first, but it was still difficult. Even though Peter Pan didn't like them, the new owner called Perter Pan in four different names. The second shorten name was "Petan" which was the same sound as a seasoned Chinese duck egg . He particularly didn't like this one. The third name was "Pee-Poo". The forth name was "Pooh". The new owner called him with these four different names, and he never answered to them.

The new owner really liked the name "Pooh" for many reasons; mainly because the sound was easy for her. Peter Pan thought that the name wasn't too bad after all so he decided to respond to the name.
