The most popular tourist activities in the region are ukai (cormorant fishing) and hanami (viewing cherry blossoms in springtime). The ukai season lasts from 11 May to 15 October. Boats go out in the evening, using cormorants (a large water bird) tethered by long leashes to catch fish. The birds scoop up the fish with their beaks, but are unable to swallow them due to small metal rings attached to the base of their necks. |
Our main school is located in downtown Gifu city, near Meitestu Station. We have another school located in Kakamigahara, also in Gifu prefecture. If you ever have a chance to visit either of our schools, please come by. |
