DSB Litra N ( Nr. 209 ) Steam locomotive work of Jesper Bo Nielsen

Litra N was the largest steam locomotive ever in Denmark. Br 50 UK was the German "Ubergangs Kriegslokomotive" (Transition (to) War-locomotive) and was mass produced in many occupied countries during WWII. After the war, Belgium reclaimed locomotives made on Belgium factories and 12 of these was sold to Denmark in 1952.At the DSB factory, the locomotives was rebuild to fit Danish environment (smaller compartment for coal in tender and a much smaller chimney). Unfortunately none of the Litra N have survived. The last was scrapped in 1976.
